Guided Tours

Norma Sweeney
I’m based just outside Stratford on the edge of Shakespeare’s Forest of Arden in the beautiful village of Welford on Avon where I’ve lived for 20 years, so I know the local area very well and I look forward to showing it to you.
I worked for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust for over ten years and started its very successful event, wedding and corporate hospitality business. I have been a guide for seven years, with a wide range of experience including organising corporate programmes, specialist theatre weekends , overseas group visits and walks, familiarisation visits for journalists, private garden visits for clubs and societies.
I’m a professionally-qualified Blue Badge guide, trained to provide a first-class complete service and I can offer
• Tours in the Heart of England region and further afield, in towns such as Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Gloucester, Warwick, Oxford and the Cotswolds and of course the smaller towns and villages which make the area so fascinating
• A friendly and relaxed style with topics and itineraries tailored to suit the client’s requirements, whether it’s horseracing at Cheltenham or foodie expeditions in the Cotswolds, Arts and Crafts architecture, whatever you’re interested in
